The Emirates Lawyers Association signed a cooperation agreement with LAITRON, in a step aimed at introducing advanced artificial intelligence solutions to the legal community in the United Arab Emirates, contributing to the development of a modern professional environment capable of competing regionally and globally.
 

The agreement was signed in the presence of Counselor / Zayed Saeed Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, and Counselor / Rani Sader, CEO of LAITRON, along with members of the Board.
 

Both the Association and LAITRON expressed their shared desire to enhance cooperation in the fields of digital transformation and legal innovation. The two parties agreed to work across several areas focused on developing the use of artificial intelligence in legal services, improving the efficiency of professional cadres, and adopting the latest technologies that support legal work.
 

This agreement comes as a continuation of the Association’s efforts to strengthen strategic partnerships, and builds on the memorandum of understanding previously signed between the Association and Sader Company in 2021, which aimed to support legal culture and the publication of legal books across various specializations.
 

The current framework agreement serves as a regulatory reference that defines the principles of cooperation and the basic procedures necessary for implementing joint initiatives between the two parties, thereby enhancing the development of the legal system in the UAE and keeping pace with rapid technological transformations.
 

The agreement outlines a set of strategic objectives reflecting the shared direction toward developing and strengthening the legal sector. It aims to highlight the leading role of the Emirates Lawyers Association in driving the digital transformation of the legal profession and to develop its legal environment in line with technological and knowledge advancements.
 

It also seeks to enhance the competitiveness of the UAE legal community at the local, regional, and international levels by providing advanced digital tools that reflect global best practices, contributing to improving the quality and efficiency of legal services.
 

As part of expanding areas of cooperation, both parties agreed to develop a strategic partnership aligned with the Association’s vision of leveraging artificial intelligence technologies to serve lawyers and legal professionals, enhance their professional competencies, and promote legal awareness of modern technologies and their impact on the profession and the legal community.
 

The agreement emphasized the commitment of both parties to work jointly in a spirit of transparency and good faith, and to exert mutual efforts to achieve shared goals, ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of initiatives.
 

It also aims to establish a sustainable and effective framework for cooperation between the two parties, achieving mutual benefit and enhancing added value within the legal ecosystem, as well as activating joint efforts to improve performance, simplify procedures, and develop legal tech services to serve lawyers and the broader legal community, contributing to the preparation of qualified legal professionals capable of keeping pace with rapid digital transformations.
