is a long-established professional association founded in 1980 by the pioneering generation of lawyers and legal professionals who, driven by their belief in the national duty entrusted to them, took the initiative to contribute to supporting the country’s development and to advance this successful journey by establishing an association under the name “The Jurists Association.” A new and creative launch then took place on 30 April 2012, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State (may God protect him), and Their Highnesses the Members of the Supreme Council of the Union, Rulers of the Emirates (may God protect them), under its new name, “The Emirates Association of Lawyers and Legal.” By the grace of God, through the efforts of its dedicated members, and with the support and patronage of our wise leadership, the Association is currently moving forward with confident steps in promoting legal culture and in focusing on the training and qualification of lawyers and legal professionals in the State.
