Abu Dhabi – The pavilion of the Emirates Lawyers Association, participating in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2026, welcomed His Excellency Lawyer / Mohammed Ali Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Committee at the Sharjah Consultative Council, during the Association’s participation in the prestigious cultural and knowledge event.
 

His Excellency was received by Lawyer and Legal Consultant Dr. Hassan Matar Al Riaimi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Lawyers Association, and Lawyer / Adel Fakher, Head of the Media Center and Board Member of the Association. They welcomed His Excellency and highlighted the importance of continuous communication between legal and legislative institutions, as well as the exchange of expertise and professional perspectives that contribute to the development of legal practice in the United Arab Emirates.
 

During the visit, His Excellency / Mohammed Ali Al Hammadi was briefed on the Association’s participation in the fair, including its publications, knowledge-based content, and initiatives aimed at promoting legal awareness and strengthening the community’s understanding of the law. He was also introduced to the Association’s efforts to advance the legal profession and promote knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to the rule of law.
 

The meeting also included an exchange of views on a number of legal and legislative matters, with emphasis on the importance of continued institutional efforts to promote legal culture and strengthen professional and knowledge-based dialogue among legal practitioners and specialists, in line with the ongoing legislative and legal developments taking place in the United Arab Emirates.
 

The Association’s representatives reaffirmed the Emirates Lawyers Association’s commitment to participating in major cultural and knowledge events, reflecting its belief in the importance of promoting legal knowledge and strengthening its presence within the community, while building bridges of communication with legal institutions, professionals, and intellectual figures.
 

The visit reflects the importance of legal engagement in major cultural and knowledge events, which provide valuable opportunities for exchanging expertise and strengthening professional relations among specialists, thereby contributing to the continued development of legal and knowledge-based initiatives in the UAE.
 

At the conclusion of the visit, the Board of Directors of the Emirates Lawyers Association expressed its appreciation to His Excellency / Mohammed Ali Al Hammadi for his visit, wishing him continued success and reaffirming the Association’s commitment to serving the legal profession and contributing to the promotion of legal culture and knowledge within the community.
