In a strategic step aimed at strengthening joint cooperation in the legal, academic, and professional fields, the Emirates Association of Lawyers and Legal Professionals signed a memorandum of understanding with Khorfakkan University, in line with the vision of the United Arab Emirates to develop the legal system and qualify specialized national talents.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Association by Counselor Zayed Saeed Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and on behalf of the University by Dr. Saif Khamis Al Naqbi, Vice Chancellor of Khorfakkan University for Community Affairs, in the presence of a number of officials and specialists from both sides.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to exchanging legal and institutional expertise and knowledge, promoting legal awareness, and advancing professional practices within the community.

Key Areas and Objectives of the Agreement:

1. Building a strategic partnership and enhancing integration in implementing joint initiatives and programs.
2. Organizing specialized legal conferences, seminars, and workshops.
3. Providing practical and professional training opportunities for law students and university graduates to prepare them for the labor market.
4. Strengthening cooperation channels with legal entities and law firms to refine students’ skills.
5. Exchanging legal studies, research, and publications, and holding periodic meetings.
