The Emirates Lawyers Association and the Autoimmune Association have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening community partnership, exchanging expertise, and supporting initiatives that serve members of the community and raise awareness of legal rights and issues related to autoimmune diseases.

The agreement was signed by Counselor Zayed Saeed Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Lawyers Association, and Dr. Eman Al Hashemi, Founder and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Autoimmune Association.
 

The agreement reflects both parties’ commitment to building effective partnerships with civil society institutions and developing joint initiatives that bring together the legal, health, and community sectors, thereby enhancing quality of life and supporting beneficiary groups.
 

Areas of cooperation include the exchange of knowledge and expertise, the organization of seminars, workshops, and awareness-raising events, as well as exploring the implementation of joint initiatives that contribute to promoting legal and health awareness and enhancing awareness of the rights of patients and their families.
 

Both parties emphasized the importance of this partnership in strengthening the concept of social responsibility and opening new avenues for institutional cooperation, in line with the UAE’s efforts to support quality of life and promote integration across different sectors of society.
